4.16 Houston Tethered Swimmers - WR Brandon Coleman

In the real world: Coleman's got crazy size (6'6", 225 lb.), and he got onto the NFL Draft map in his sophomore season at Rutgers (43-718-10), but he was hampered by a torn meniscus as a junior. Despite the down year, he declared for the Draft anyway. The knock on Coleman seems to be that, in addition to the knee injury, he's not as physical as he could be given his size. The Saints signed him as an undrafted free agent. For what it's worth, Scouts, Inc. gave him a grade of 69 (the highest among this year's crop of undrafted free agents). He's similar in size to Marques Colston--slightly taller, same weight, maybe a little slower--and Colston is almost 31, battling foot injuries and has seen his yards-per-catch average decline for three years in a row. If Coleman does well in 2014 and 2015, Colston could get cut in 2016.
In the TUFF world: Another fine pick here in Round 4 as Coleman brings a mix of great size, some talent and a season of college production to the Swimmers' table. Bring on training camp. One thing about the draft starting and ending later than in previous years is that the wait between the end of the draft and the start of training camp won't be quite as long.
