4.08 Detroit Vipers - RB Dri Archer WR, dammit

In the real world: MyFantasyLeague.com lists Dri (pronounced DREE) Archer as a running back, because the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him late in Round 3 of the NFL Draft as a running back, but that shouldn't fool you. Recent news of a uniform number change suggests they have moved him to wide receiver, where he belongs. The fastest player at this year's Combine (4.26 40, the fastest since Chris Johnson six years ago) does not fit the traditional running back role (too small, goes down too easily). At wide receiver, however, you could imagine him as an even faster version of T.Y. Hilton. For what it's worth, Todd Haley, the Steelers' offensive coordinator, was head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs when they drafted Dexter McCluster--and Archer is much faster than McCluster.
In the TUFF world: Detroit had seriously considered drafting Archer at 3.13 (before ultimately deciding on Bruce Ellington). As with many other fourth-round picks, only time will tell how Archer turns out.
