4.06 Indy Hoosier Daddy's - WR Jeff Janis

In the real world: Janis has got outstanding tools (in particular, he's 6'3" and 219 lb. and ran the 40 in 4.42 seconds), but is raw coming out of Saginaw Valley State, another Division II school. The Packers drafted him in Round 7 and hope he can succeed where Charles Johnson (another small school pick last year who had a great size-speed combo) did not. Janis will be competing with fellow rookies Davante Adams and Jared Abbrederis for targets behind veterans Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson and Jarrett Boykin. For what it's worth, Janis is both taller and faster than Adams and Abbrederis.
In the TUFF world: As noted earlier, Indy was looking for depth at wide receiver, and with the pickings getting slimmer, they were thrilled to get Janis. Indy acquired this pick from Cleveland for 5 TUFFs.
