3.16 Houston Tethered Swimmers - PK Nate Freese

In the real world: Last year, Jason Hanson retired from the NFL after more than two decades as the Detroit Lions' starting placekicker. The Lions signed David Akers, but after last season, decided not to re-sign him. They drafted Freese out of Boston College, and he will compete against Giorgio Tavecchio for their placeckicking job this year.  Last season, Freese nailed all 20 of his field goal attempts, including two from 50 yards or more.
In the TUFF world: Houston has three other kickers, but only one (Alex Henery) has a solid job situation at the moment.
