4.12 San Diego Slewage - RB Tim Flanders

In the real world: The New Orleans Saints signed Flanders as an undrafted free agent out of Sam Houston State. He is not too speedy, but was productive in four seasons at SHSU after transferring from Kansas State. Sigmund Bloom says, "His fluid, gliding cuts and initial burst look promising for a small school back." The Saints have had unusual success with undrafted free agent running backs in recent years--Pierre Thomas, Chris Ivory, Travaris Cadet, Khiry Robinson. Perhaps Flanders will continue this string. One more note--Mark Ingram will become a free agent next year after the Saints declined to pick up his 2015 option.
In the TUFF world: Congratulations, Tim--you're the last running back to go off the board in this draft. Todd Hansen bought this pick from Pittsburgh for 10 TUFFs.
