3.09 Baltimore Brown Clowns - WR Paul Richardson

In the real world: The defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks' first selection in the 2014 NFL Draft was Richardson, a speedy but skinny wideout who reminds some of DeSean Jackson. Richardson will need to work on running routes, but he has the potential to be a home-run threat.
In the TUFF world: I consider this a great value pick--Richardson was easily the best available player according to the majority of rookie rankings I've seen. Wideouts that go in Round 2 of the NFL Draft don't often fall to Round 3 of the TUFF Draft. Baltimore needed to add at least one young receiver because their top two (Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald) are in their 30s and have a combined 22 seasons of NFL experience between them.

You know how, a few years ago in my 2010 Draft Wrapup, I came across someone who said "Rounds 1-3 is ordering off a menu, Rounds 4-7 are a buffet"? Richardson was one of the last "menu" players--in my opinion, the very last one. From here on out, it's strictly buffet.
