2.11 Houston Tethered Swimmers - WR Jarvis Landry

In the real world: Landry comes to a Miami Dolphins team that needs depth at wide receiver. His terrible Combine and lackluster pro day performances should have hurt his draft stock, but judging by the fact that the 'Fins took him late in Round 2, it didn't get hurt too badly. In fairness, Landry outproduced the more heralded Odell Beckham last year. NFL Network's Mike Mayock went so far as to say he couldn't tell Landry from Beckham when watching them in games, and added that Landry was the toughest wideout in this year's class.
In the TUFF world: The run on backs earlier in this draft might have tempted Houston to take De'Anthony Thomas and handcuff him to Jamaal Charles. Kudos to Jeff Rathburn for resisting that temptation and taking a better overall player. It's time to move on past Davone Bess, Donnie Avery and Vincent Brown.
