4.13 Denver Devils - WR Kevin Norwood

In the real world: The Seahawks took the 6'2", 197-lb. Norwood in Round 4 of the NFL Draft. It's tough to judge him based on college production, because over the last two season, he played alongside Amari Cooper, who will probably be one of the first WRs off the board in next year's draft. Supposing Cooper was drawing double coverage, I would have expected Norwood to get numbers similar to what Michael Jenkins got the one year he played alongside Santonio Holmes at Ohio State (2003), or what Mohammed Massaquoi got when he played with A.J. Green (2008). He had just 568 receiving yards last season--his career best--although he did lead all Crimson Tide receivers with 7 touchdowns.
In the TUFF world: Norwood sounds like a slightly taller, slightly faster version of Jason Avant--reliable, a very good route runner, but not spectacular. Detroit originally had this pick but sold it to Denver.
