4.09 Baltimore Brown Clowns - QB A.J. McCarron

In the real world: The Bengals drafted McCarron in Round 5. Whether they drafted him as Andy Dalton's backup, or to light a fire under Dalton's butt, or to replace Dalton in the long term, is subject to speculation and debate. McCarron is a game manager with excellent decision-making skills who has experience working under center (instead of out of the shotgun). But he also had the benefit of playing on a perennial national championship contender with great running backs and offensive linemen.
In the TUFF world: The Brown Clowns are one of the few teams presently enjoying a quarterback surplus--they have two starting quarterbacks plus two possible starters--which means they can sit back and let McCarron develop.
